Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. All authors meet authorship requirements and approve the submission.
• The article addresses an educational problem within CJE’s scope, with appropriate methods and evidence. Technical functionality, usability, or algorithm performance alone is insufficient. Claims reflect the findings and limitations.
• The manuscript uses clear academic English and the official CJE Word (.docx) template. All instructions and examples have been removed.
• The manuscript contains 3,000–5,000 words, excluding references, tables, and figures; a title of no more than 25 words; a 150–200-word abstract; and 3–5 alphabetical keywords separated by semicolons.
• Complete author details are provided. Separate title pages and anonymous manuscripts are encouraged; otherwise, editors will anonymise the review copy before external review.
• Funding, author contributions, ethics and consent, conflicts of interest, data availability, and generative AI declarations are included and accurate. Non-applicability and restrictions are explained.
• Citations and references follow APA 7th Edition and match each other. DOI links are included where available. Tables are editable; figures are legible. Both are numbered and cited.
• The submitting author confirms all authors’ agreement with CJE’s guidelines and policies applicable at submission, including ethics, peer review, AI use, open access, licensing, and publication charges.
