Copyright and License

Authors retain copyright and publishing rights to articles published in Ceddi Journal of Education (CJE). Authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the article under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license. The journal does not require authors to transfer copyright or grant exclusive publishing rights. Authors retain the right to share and reuse their work, while respecting the rights already granted to readers under the license.

All articles published in CJE are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license. This license permits users to share and adapt the material in any medium or format for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated. Adapted material must be distributed under the same license or a Creative Commons-approved compatible license.

The CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license consists of the following components:

  • BY (Attribution) — Appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s), a link to the license must be provided, and any changes must be indicated.
  • NC (NonCommercial) — Uses permitted under this license must be non-commercial.
  • SA (ShareAlike) — If adaptations are shared, they must be distributed under the same license or a Creative Commons-approved compatible license.

No additional permission from the authors or publisher is required for uses permitted by the license. Users must not impose additional legal or technological restrictions that prevent others from exercising the rights granted by the license. Third-party material identified as excluded from the article's license remains subject to its own terms.
