Retraction and Withdrawal of Manuscript
Retraction
The papers published in the Ceddi Journal of Education will be considered to retract in the publication if:
- They have clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either as a result of misconduct (e.g. data fabrication) or honest error (e.g. miscalculation or experimental error).
- The findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper cross-referencing and permission or justification (i.e. cases of redundant publication).
- It constitutes plagiarism.
- It reports unethical research.
The mechanism of retraction follows the Retraction Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which can be accessed at https://publicationethics.org.
Withdrawal of Manuscripts
Authors are advised not to withdraw their manuscripts once the peer review process has commenced, as such actions misuse the time, effort, and resources of the editorial and review teams. Should authors decide to withdraw their submission, they are required to submit a written request to the Editor-in-Chief, providing a clear and reasonable explanation for the withdrawal.
Withdrawal of a manuscript after it has been accepted for publication is allowed only in extraordinary cases and must receive explicit approval from the Editor-in-Chief. At all times, authors must ensure that their work is not simultaneously submitted to, under review by, or accepted in any other journal.
Frequent or unethical withdrawal behavior may lead to restrictions on future submissions to the Ceddi Journal of Education and notification to the author’s affiliated institution.
