Retraction and Withdrawal of Manuscript

Retraction

Articles published in the Ceddi Journal of Information System and Technology (JST) may be retracted if:

  • There is clear evidence that the findings are unreliable due to misconduct (e.g., data fabrication) or honest error (e.g., miscalculation or experimental error).
  • The findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper cross-referencing, permission, or justification (redundant publication).
  • The article constitutes plagiarism.
  • The research reported is found to be unethical.

The mechanism of retraction follows the COPE Retraction Guidelines.

Withdrawal

Authors are strongly discouraged from withdrawing manuscripts once the peer review process has started, as this wastes the valuable time and resources of editors and reviewers. If authors wish to withdraw a manuscript, they must submit a formal request to the Editor-in-Chief explaining the reasons for withdrawal.

Withdrawal after acceptance is permitted only under exceptional circumstances, subject to approval by the Editor-in-Chief. In all cases, authors must ensure that the manuscript is not under consideration or accepted by another journal at the same time.
