Author Guidelines

A. General Requirements

Authors are required to follow the submission guidelines of Ceddi Journal of Information System and Technology (JST) carefully, including the journal’s policies on publication ethics, data sharing, and responsible use of generative AI. Manuscripts that do not comply with these guidelines may be returned before entering the review process.

    1. Manuscripts must be written in English.
    2. The length of research articles should be between 2,000 and 5,000 words (excluding references). Authors are strongly encouraged to prepare comprehensive manuscripts in the range of 4,000–5,000 words to meet international publishing standards. However, shorter high-quality papers (minimum 2,000 words) that present significant and innovative findings may also be considered for publication.
    3. Each article must include an abstract (150–200 words) in English, followed by 3–5 keywords.
    4. References and in-text citations must follow the APA 7th Edition style. The use of Mendeley or similar reference management software is strongly encouraged.
    5. Manuscripts must be prepared using the official Ceddi Journal of Information System and Technology (JST) template.
    6. All submissions must adhere to the journal’s Publication Ethics and Plagiarism Policy (maximum similarity index 25%).
    7. Authors must also comply with the journal’s Data Sharing and Responsible Use of Generative AI Policy. Any use of generative AI or automated tools (e.g., large language models) must be transparently disclosed in the manuscript’s Methods or Acknowledgements section, specifying the name of the tool and the type of assistance provided. Authors are strongly encouraged to deposit underlying research data and code in an open repository when ethically and legally permissible.

B. Structure of the Manuscript

Manuscripts should be structured in the following sections:

  1. Title: Concise, informative, and written clearly.
  2. Authors: Provide full names (without abbreviation), institutional affiliations, and one email address for the corresponding author.
  3. Abstract: Summarise the purpose, methods, results, and conclusions. No citations allowed.
  4. Keywords: Provide 3–5 keywords for indexing purposes. Use specific terms and avoid overly general words.
  5. Introduction: Outline the research background, problem statement, objectives, and significance.
  6. Methods: Clearly describe the research design, materials, and analysis methods.
  7. Results and Discussion: Present findings supported by tables/figures, and discuss implications.
  8. Conclusions and Suggestions: Provide concise conclusions and recommendations.
  9. Acknowledgement (if any): Acknowledge individuals, institutions, and, if applicable, disclose the use of generative AI tools or automated language models in preparing the manuscript.
  10. Funding Statement (if any): Disclose sources of financial support.
  11. Author Contributions (if any)
  12. References: At least 80% of references must come from primary sources (journal articles, conference papers) and from the last five years.

C. Article Types Accepted

Ceddi Journal of Information System and Technology (JST) accepts original research articles, review papers, and case studies in the field of information systems, information technology, informatics engineering, and computer science. All submissions must present original work that has not been previously published or is under consideration elsewhere.

D. Peer Review Policy

This journal applies a double-blind peer review system. Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers. The decision to accept, revise, or reject is based on reviewers’ recommendations and the editorial board’s judgment.

  1. Initial screening: within three working days.
  2. Review process: approximately 30 days.
  3. Publication (after acceptance and final proof): approximately 15 days.
