Gen AI Policy

Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) Policy

Jurnal Abdimas Cendekiawan Indonesia recognizes that Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools are increasingly used in academic writing. The journal permits the responsible use of such tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar technologies) for limited purposes, including language editing, improving clarity and structure, grammar checking, or organizing ideas during manuscript preparation.

However, GenAI tools must not be used to generate, fabricate, manipulate, or misrepresent data related to community service activities, mentoring programs, fieldwork documentation, implementation outcomes, impact analysis, or any findings that are expected to originate from authentic community engagement and empirical work. All substantive content, including data, interpretations, and references, must reflect genuine scholarly work conducted by the authors.

Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of their submissions. GenAI tools cannot be listed as authors, and any use of such tools must be transparently disclosed in the Acknowledgments or Methods section. Editors and reviewers are prohibited from uploading manuscripts or peer-review materials to public GenAI platforms in order to protect confidentiality. Non-compliance with this policy may result in rejection, correction, or retraction in accordance with the journal’s Publication Ethics and COPE guidelines.
