Peer Review Process

Jurnal Abdimas Cendekiawan Indonesia applies a double-blind peer review process. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to assess their suitability with the journal’s aims and scope, ethical standards, and overall academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements or fall outside the journal’s focus may be rejected at this stage. Prior to peer review, each manuscript is screened using similarity detection software such as Turnitin and/or iThenticate.

Manuscripts that pass the initial evaluation are reviewed by at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind system. Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editor makes one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, resubmit for review, or reject. The final decision rests with the editor, who may consult members of the Editorial Board when necessary. The peer review and editorial processes follow internationally recognized standards and align with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. All accepted articles are published as immediate open access under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license.

The average time from submission to online publication is approximately 6–12 weeks, depending on the peer review process, required revisions, and editorial workflow. The journal strives to ensure an efficient and timely review process while maintaining high academic standards.
