JDLI

Journal Overview

Journal of Digital Learning Innovation (JDLI) is an international, peer-reviewed, immediate open-access journal publishing research on the design, implementation, and evaluation of digital technologies and learning environments for teaching, learning, and educational assessment.

JDLI serves researchers, educators, instructional designers, learning technologists, and policymakers by disseminating methodologically rigorous research on digital learning platforms, artificial intelligence in education, learning analytics, adaptive learning, gamification, immersive learning, and digital assessment.

Digital technology must be central to a manuscript’s research question and contribution. Submissions must demonstrate a clear connection to learning, teaching, assessment, or educational outcomes. Studies focused only on general teaching practices or software functionality without meaningful educational evaluation are outside JDLI’s primary focus.

Manuscripts must be original, not under consideration elsewhere, and written in English.

Similarity reports are assessed by the editorial team and are not used as the sole basis for editorial decisions.

Editorial decisions may include Reject, Major Revision, Minor Revision, or Accept. The editorial process follows JDLI’s publication ethics policies and applicable Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidance.
