Ceddi Healviora: Journal of Health Sciences is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes rigorous research advancing knowledge and practice in health and healthcare.

The journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, clinicians, nurses, midwives, pharmacists, public health professionals, and policymakers to disseminate evidence that contributes to health promotion, disease prevention, clinical practice, healthcare services, and population health.

Aims and Scope

Ceddi Healviora: Journal of Health Sciences aims to advance research that addresses clearly defined health-related problems and contributes to clinical practice, public health, healthcare delivery, or health policy.

The journal prioritizes methodologically rigorous and ethically conducted studies with a clear contribution to health outcomes or healthcare practice. It welcomes original research articles, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and state-of-the-art reviews using appropriate quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches.

The journal’s scope includes, but is not limited to:

  • Clinical and translational health research, including diagnosis, treatment, disease prevention, patient outcomes, and translational research with clear relevance to human health
  • Nursing, midwifery, and allied health, including rehabilitation, physiotherapy, patient care, and evidence-based service delivery
  • Public and population health, including epidemiology, health promotion, disease prevention, community health, health inequalities, and global health
  • Pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences, including pharmacology, clinical pharmacy, medication safety, pharmaceutical care, and the appropriate use of medicines
  • Nutrition and health, including human nutrition, nutritional status, diet-related health risks, and nutrition interventions
  • Mental and behavioral health, including mental health, psychological wellbeing, and prevention or treatment approaches
  • Environmental and occupational health, including environmental exposures, workplace health and safety, and climate-related health risks
  • Healthcare systems, policy, and management, including healthcare quality, patient safety, access to care, health policy, health economics, and service organization
  • Digital health and health informatics, including telehealth, health information systems, artificial intelligence, and digital health applications when their evaluation demonstrates relevance to health outcomes, patient care, or healthcare services

Studies involving technology, organizations, or specific communities are considered when their primary contribution concerns health outcomes or healthcare delivery. Technical development of software, devices, or information systems without meaningful evaluation in a health or healthcare context is outside the journal’s primary scope.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to Ceddi Healviora undergo an initial editorial screening for relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, completeness, ethical compliance, and similarity. Suitable manuscripts are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process by a minimum of two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Editorial decisions consider originality, methodological rigor, ethical standards, and relevance to the journal’s readership.
