Journal of Medical Informatics and Digital Health (JMIDH) is an international, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes high-quality original research articles, systematic reviews, and state-of-the-art reviews at the intersection of medical informatics, digital health technologies, health data science, and intelligent healthcare systems.

The journal provides a global scholarly platform for researchers, clinicians, data scientists, engineers, and health policymakers to disseminate innovative, evidence-based, and impactful research that supports the digital transformation of healthcare systems and improves healthcare quality, safety, efficiency, and patient outcomes worldwide.

JMIDH maintains transparent and accountable editorial oversight to ensure the publication of trustworthy, citable, and ethically sound scholarship. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure originality, methodological rigor, and academic excellence. The journal strictly adheres to the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

All manuscripts must be written in English and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

JMIDH is a fully Open Access journal. All published content is freely available to users and institutions without subscription barriers. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles, provided that proper attribution to the original work is given.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. Authors retain copyright of their work.

Peer review at JMIDH is conducted using a double-blind model and involves a minimum of two independent reviewers for each manuscript. Submissions undergo an initial editorial screening covering scope alignment, completeness, ethical compliance, and similarity checks (Turnitin/iThenticate) prior to external review. Editorial decisions are based on reviewers’ recommendations and COPE Core Practices.
